To call yourself a manual therapist, you must first have completed the Manual Therapy specialization, a three-year master's degree. We now have four manual therapists in our practice, spread over all locations. A fifth will start soon fysiotherapist with this training.
We use manual therapy for back and neck complaints, but the treatment method is also extremely effective for other joint complaints. The aim of manual therapy is to improve the functioning of joints and to improve posture and movement(s).
When you are under treatment with the manual therapist, you will also receive homework exercises to maintain the effectiveness of the therapy. If the manual therapist has made a joint more mobile, this improved mobility must be optimized at home. If you do not exercise or exercise too little, the mobility will decrease.
