Fysioplein extends the successful collaboration with Bergman Clinics at our newest location in Capelle aan den IJssel. After a 4-year wait, the completely new building in Capelle is ready and we will start working here from Wednesday 23 April. The location in Rotterdam next to the airport was a temporary home until the building in Capelle would be ready. The colleagues of Team Rotterdam have enjoyed working here with Bergman Clinics.
In Capelle you will see the familiar faces of the physiotherapists from Rotterdam. The practice is located close to the Alexandrium shopping centre. Fysioplein is located on the fourth floor of the building at Lylantse Baan 11 in Capelle aan den IJssel. As you are used to from us, you can park here for free. Fysioplein has a completely new spacious exercise room with the latest training equipment completely surrounded by windows.
In addition to treating and training our patients, Fysioplein also support activities in the clinic. Our activities in Capelle include making echoes, a joint foot and ankle consultation, both in the form of a combined consultation with an orthopedic surgeon. In addition, Fysioplein responsible for providing postoperative explanations to patients and providing care.
One of the roles of Fysioplein is to facilitate ultrasounds for Dr. Schild. These ultrasounds are essential to the diagnostic process, allowing the physician to make an accurate assessment of various conditions and injuries. By using imaging, Dr. Schild can make the correct diagnosis.
In addition, one of our physiotherapists has a joint foot and ankle consultation hour with Dr. Van Vliet. Because both an orthopedic surgeon and physiotherapist look at the complaint, the correct diagnosis can be made.
Another important aspect of our service is providing detailed post-operative explanations to patients immediately after surgery. This includes instructions and guidance on recovery protocols, exercises and any restrictions after surgery. Patients who can go home the same day will receive this explanation on the spot, while patients who need to stay overnight will receive the explanation the next day.
