Do you feel that you have hip osteoarthritis? Or has an X-ray or a doctor determined that you have osteoarthritis of the hip?
There are often the following symptoms: night pain, where you regularly wake up from the pain. A second characteristic of osteoarthritis is pain when loading the hip during walking and climbing stairs. The mobility of the hip is also often significantly reduced, especially with rotations of the hip.
What can fysiotherapy mean to you? In case of wear, it is advisable to start with fysiotherapy. It is examined whether the load capacity of the hip can be improved and you can do your daily things again. If this gives unsatisfactory results, it may be considered to have your GP refer you to an orthopedist to further assess the hip and to make a plan of action.
