Hip and groin complaints

In the past 30 years we have gained a lot of knowledge about the rehabilitation of people with hip complaints after surgery, but also about hip and groin complaints without surgery.
Hip and groin complaints

Hip and groin complaints are common and can be treated well. Make an appointment here to have your hip and/or groin complaints assessed.

Our approach

During the intake, the physiotherapist will look at the possible cause of the complaints with you. A recovery plan will then be drawn up.

Treatments

The treatment is aimed at improving the load-bearing capacity of the hip and/or groin in order to eventually allow you to function again.

Everything about hip and groin complaints

Hip and groin complaints can have various causes. A good analysis of the problem is therefore essential before starting treatment. Fysioplein helps you by looking closely at the source of the complaints during the intake. By means of various tests or ultrasound examinations, we identify the nature of the problem. We then choose an approach that best suits this.

Fysioplein sees many hip complaints after an operation such as a new hip (total hip replacement), hip arthroscopy and other hip operations. Rehabilitation after such an operation requires a specialist approach in order to achieve a good recovery.

In addition, see Fysioplein also many hip complaints without surgery.
If you have hip or groin pain, a snapping hip or hip osteoarthritis, it is advisable to have the hip examined by one of our physiotherapists. A treatment plan will be drawn up in consultation with you.

Common muscle injuries in the hip region are groin and buttock complaints. These are often due to overload or an injury during sports. However, such a complaint can also come from the hip joint or back. It is therefore important during the investigation to clarify where the complaint comes from in order to draw up the correct treatment plan.

We have developed a number of care plans especially for people with hip and groin complaints. The care plan is a personal treatment plan, in which your treatment process is precisely tailored to your complaints.
