Treatment of sciatica complaints

Treatment for sciatica depends on the specific cause of the inflammation or pressure on the nerve pathway. Most back complaints with radiating buttock and/or leg pain recover in the first three months. In 80 to 90 percent of cases, the cause is a herniated disc, but sciatica can also be the result of spinal stenosis or slipping of a vertebra (spondylolisthesis). Other factors can also cause sciatica. After determining the cause of the complaints, a suitable treatment plan can be drawn up together with you. Fysioplein helps reduce pain faster, improve mobility and regain control of your back.
