Treatments

The treatment is aimed at improving the load capacity of the foot.

Everything about Foot complaints

Foot complaints can arise from overload, trauma or surgery. A common foot complaint is heel spur. You then have pain in the foot at the heel bone on the underside of the foot. This complaint can be treated well with physiotherapy.

In addition, a deviating position of the big toe (hallux valgus) is common. The big toe is then pointed too much towards the other toes and causes pain in the area of the big toe. Fysiotherapy is the preferred method of treatment. If treatment is unsuccessful, surgery by an orthopedic surgeon may be considered.

A fracture of one of the metatarsal bones is also common. Fysiotherapy is important to improve the load capacity when you come out of the cast or have been prescribed a period of rest by the treating physician.

We have developed foot care plans especially for people with foot complaints. The care plan is a personal treatment plan, in which your treatment process is precisely tailored to your complaints. After performing a number of tests and completing questionnaires, it is determined which care plan is most suitable for you. There are special test and measurement instruments to measure the effects of your treatment.
