Fysioplein has various locations, including a location within the Bergman Clinics in Rotterdam. We have had the privilege of working closely with this clinic for four years. Before our activities in Rotterdam started, Fysioplein located in Delft, where we also enjoyed a valuable collaboration with the Bergman Clinics. We have been working with the Bergman Clinics in Rotterdam for 4 years now. In the second quarter of 2025, Bergman Rotterdam will move to a new building in Capelle aan de IJsel. As it looks now, it's moving Fysioplein in 2025 with Bergman Rotterdam to the new location in Capelle.
Our work in Rotterdam includes making ultrasound scans during consultation hours, a joint foot and ankle consultation hour, providing postoperative explanations to patients and providing care.
One of the roles of Fysioplein is facilitating ultrasounds for Dr. Shield. These ultrasounds are essential to the diagnostic process, allowing the doctor to make an accurate assessment of various conditions and injuries. By using imaging, Dr. Schild can make the correct diagnosis.
In addition, one of our fysiotherapists have a joint foot and ankle consultation hour together with Dr. Van Vliet. During these consultation hours we offer patients an extensive consultation involving both medical and... fysiotherapeutic perspectives are integrated to provide optimal care. Because it is performed by both an orthopedic surgeon and fysioIf the therapist looks at the complaint, the correct diagnosis can be made.
Another important aspect of our service is providing patients with detailed postoperative explanations immediately after surgery. This includes instructions and guidance on recovery protocols, exercises, and any restrictions after surgery. Patients who can go home the same day receive this explanation on site, while others receive it the next day if they have to stay overnight.
